I have studied IT Essentials 1 and 2 and Discovery one with CAVI. The flexble approach to learning meant I could undertake study while working without taking time off.   Throughout the course I would download the audio of lectures on to my iRiver and listen to them on public transport.

I felt comfortable emailing the instructors for assistance as well as participating in dialogue on the email list set up for students. It was very convenient to be able to nominate a time when I was available to sit module exams. The online resources were quite accessible and the picture descriptions very helpful in understanding the physical construct of a device when the device itself wasn't available to me to touch.

I hope CAVI is able to continue so that more vision impaired and blind people can receive certificates and continue their studies in IT.
